Most of Sensorcom’s product range was created through popular request by customers in search of special communications products, essential for their operation, but not necessarily in huge quantities. Our R&D team combines the resources of engineers from the hearing aid and pro-audio industries that truly understand the need for good communications products that are for special applications.

Contracts in the past have included such diverse applications as:

• Communications earpieces for F1 drivers and mechanics
• Acoustic tube system for communications for cold-store operatives
• Motorcycle under-helmet headset for use at high speed

• MicroBud earphones for under crash helmet use
• Inductive coupling solutions for hearing aid users
• High quality in-ear monitors for musicians

Laser Marking
Due to the increasing amount of manufacturing we undertake for public security, we have installed a YAG laser marking capable of permanently printing text and graphics to a very high standard. We have a separate web site, www.laseretch.co.uk that outlines what is possible and a guide to what is involved. Laser marking is now and increasing demand for components to assist traceability through unique serial numbering and date codes.

Injection Mould Toolmaking
Most of our special projects involve the creation of an injection mould tool and we can negotiate the pricing of this through amortisation or through outright ownership. Our toolmaker specialises in complex miniature components and can offer a turn around time of 8 – 10 weeks depending on the complexity and scale of the project.
